Caves length – 7,8 m, width – 2 m, height – 2 m. From this cave is coming out a source – Rūceklītis. Once a year – in May, it is buzzing like a bee. The scientists are saying that this sound arises when the water is falling into underground lake.
Long time ago linden for people was like a church. A place where people fed spirits and a place where saint moments were hold after wedding. Even untill 20th century people still went to linden like to the sacred place.
Willow girth is 6,25 metres. It is located next to road Valka – Rūjiena. “Naglas” is home for mountaineer Imants Zauls.
Vijciema Celītkalns is one of the state protected cultural heritage monument. Long time ago it was a hillock – temporary fortification in case of enemies attack. It takes about 3ha of area and it rises up to 22 meters.
Lustiņdruvas path is located in the specially protected nature territory – Ziemeļvidzemes Biosphere Reserve. In the forest are walking paths with different attractions, like insect hotel, forest phone, the Big Chair and others.
Path is located 2.1 km from Zīle and it is the continuation to Zīles nature path. Its length – 0.5 km. Nature path with informative stands about deversity of plants in meadows, also about centenarian oaks.
The Latvian flag was placed in Lugaži square for the 100th anniversary of Latvia.
The path is planned as a gift to Latvia and to all residents of Latvia for 100th anniversary.
The Latvian land border is 1836 kilometers long, so the number 1836 was chosen as the name of the road. The entire route will be divided into one hundred parts, each 18.36 kilometers long journeys by car, bicycle or walking.
