Lake Zāģezers area is 13ha and average depth – 1.4 m. Around the Zāģezers there is forest. Also there is a beach with swimming area, beach volleyball fields, camp-fire place, cabins for changing, toilets.

The path is planned as a gift to Latvia and to all residents of Latvia for 100th anniversary.
The Latvian land border is 1836 kilometers long, so the number 1836 was chosen as the name of the road. The entire route will be divided into one hundred parts, each 18.36 kilometers long journeys by car, bicycle or walking.
The Latvian flag was placed in Lugaži square for the 100th anniversary of Latvia.
Path is located 2.1 km from Zīle and it is the continuation to Zīles nature path. Its length – 0.5 km. Nature path with informative stands about deversity of plants in meadows, also about centenarian oaks.
