Burgu meadows cover an area of 183 ha. One of the sites of the European Natura 2000 protected network in Latvia. Burgas meadows are a refuge for many open-air plants and animals. In floodplain meadows lives 12 protected bird species. Meadows have various butterflies – in total – 167 species.

The path is planned as a gift to Latvia and to all residents of Latvia for 100th anniversary.
The Latvian land border is 1836 kilometers long, so the number 1836 was chosen as the name of the road. The entire route will be divided into one hundred parts, each 18.36 kilometers long journeys by car, bicycle or walking.
The Latvian flag was placed in Lugaži square for the 100th anniversary of Latvia.
Path is located 2.1 km from Zīle and it is the continuation to Zīles nature path. Its length – 0.5 km. Nature path with informative stands about deversity of plants in meadows, also about centenarian oaks.
